North Carolina Tries to Keep Season Alive vs. No. 13 Virginia

Selection Sunday is just three days away! It’s time to lock into college basketball with a full day of conference tournament games on tap. All six high-major men’s leagues have full slates of games today, meaning we’ll have more than 12 hours straight of high-level hoops to tune in for. MUST WATCH:

Men’s CBB: North Carolina vs. No. 13 Virginia

After coming up just short in the national title game last season, North Carolina needs a win today in the ACC tournament just to keep its Big Dance hopes alive. The Heels are looking to avoid becoming the first team in the 64-team era to miss the NCAA tournament after entering the season No. 1 in the AP Poll. A win against Virginia wouldn’t push UNC into the field, but it would inch it closer and give it another opportunity tomorrow for a résumé-building win. Can the Heels start another deep March run today?
