The ninth edition of the Women's World Cup begins this week in the land down under, as Australia and New Zealand are jointly hosting this year's event. This year also features an expanded field, as 32 teams will compete for the championship. The USWNT comes into this year's edition with two consecutive World Cup titles under its belt. The action gets started on Thursday, July 20 with New Zealand taking on Norway. That game airs at 3:00 a.m. ET on FOX and is one of three games on the opening day, along with Australia vs Ireland at 6:00 a.m. ET and Nigeria vs Canada at 10:30p.m. ET. All three games are on FOX.

The USWNT gets its World Cup run underway on Friday, July 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET with a contest against Vietnam, which will air on FOX.

The Women's World Cup final will take place on Sunday, Aug. 20 in Sydney at 6:00 a.m. ET. That match will also air on FOX.
