Positive Injury Update on Reds Starting Pitcher Nick Lodolo

A positive sign for the 26-year-old.

CINCINNATI — Reds starting pitcher Nick Lodolo continues to make progress after missing most of last season with a left tibia injury.

The veteran threw a bullpen session on Saturday in Goodyear, Arizona. That's the next step for Lodolo, who hasn't pitched since May 14 of last season

Lodolo is a lock to make the Reds' rotation. Can he stay healthy? That's a major question that the 26-year-old has to answer this season. He's posted a 4.31 career ERA in 26 starts. He finished sixth in Rookie of the Year voting in 2022.
