Cincinnati Reds Rotation Getting Big Boost, Officially Activate Nick Lodolo
The Reds enter Saturday's game with a 7-6 record.
CINCINNATI — Nick Lodolo is back.
The Reds veteran hasn't pitched since last May after suffering a left tibia injury. He was officially added to the roster on Saturday and will start against the White Sox.
Lodolo was on track to start the season in the big leagues, but suffered a calf injury in spring training. He'll be a big part of the Reds' rotation if he can stay healthy.
The Reds optioned right-hander Carson Spiers to Triple-A and placed Sam Moll on a rehab assignment in Louisville. He could return to the big leagues in the near future.
