We’re big fans of Samsung TVs here at SI Showcase mainly for the vibrant, rich visuals that the brand is known for delivering. They pack a punch when serving up the latest action flicks and offer smooth views of major sporting events.
Samsung’s The Frame TV accomplishes all of the above with a 4K QLED panel but takes it to another level when the TV is off. With an Art Mode, instead of just being a black box it can showcase a work of art or a family photo. It might even have you do a double take with anti-reflection coating over the screen.
The Frame doesn’t come cheap, but as part of the Discover Samsung daily deal for March 25, you can save up to $1,000 on Samsung’s masterpiece.
85-inch The Frame ($3,497.99, originally $4,297.99 at Amazon)
The Frame’ magic-trick is available on any size, in that all of these feature Art mode. You also get a 4K QLED panel that delivers a rich picture and it’s a bit more immersive thanks to the Matte display. This coating, which gives over the screen, blocks reflections from light sources and from objects. It will let you focus on whatever you’re watching and not a light that’s reflecting or something else that appears on the screen itself.
It’s especially helpful for a larger sized TV like a 65-, 75- or 85-inch The Frame as there is more area for something to reflect on. Either route though, it makes for a great viewing experience. The inclusion of a QLED panel controlled by Samsung’s Quantum Processor 4K ensures that content looks sharp. If you’re watching 720p or 1080pHD shows or a movie the TV will even upscale it to closer to a 4K resolution.
As far as savings go, Samsung is chopping up to $1,000 off the price of The Frame and we have three picks in terms of size. The 65-inch is likely large enough for most spaces and is $400 off at $1,599.99—you can even use that savings toward a bezel to give this TV a true frame. Additionally, the 50-inch is more affordable than ever at $999 and the massive 85-inch is seeing the full $1,000 discount
- 55-inch The Frame ($1,497.99 at Amazon)
- 65-inch The Frame ($1,697.99, originally $1,997.99 at Amazon)
- 75-inch The Frame ($2,297.99, originally $2,997.99 at Amazon)
- 85-inch The Frame ($3,497.99, originally $4,297.99 at Amazon)
Every mode but the 32-inch is discounted this time around. Each of these includes Samsung’s Slim Fit Wall Mount in the box along with a stand for The Frame. This way you can easily set it up, but know that there is an install required with wall mounting it.
None of these include the actual Frame Bezel in the box though. Those come in four shades—Modern White, Modern Beige, Modern Brown, or Modern Teak—and start at $99 for the 32- or 43-inch, $149 for the 50- or 55-inch, and $199 for the 65-, 75-, or 85-inch. It’s kind of a must have though for The Frame to truly look like a piece of art along with the subscription to Art Mode. With the latter you can pick from thousands of pieces of art from well-known galleries.

If you want to take it next-level, you can get Samsung’s new for 2023 “auto-rotating wall mount” which lets you mount The Frame and with a tap of a button you can turn the TV from horizontal to vertical. It’s $349.99 for 43-to-55-inch for the size or $349.99 for the larger size.
You could even opt for Samsung's Ultra Slim Soundbar, which is a modern, super compact home audio system. It's down to $497.99 and includes both a sleek soundbar with a wireless subwoofer. It delivers a 3.1.2-channel audio experience with support for Dolby Atmos.
Either route though, it’s an excellent time to get The Frame and you can score it for a significant amount off.
