Samsung and Disney have teamed up and created something really special to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary: The Frame Disney100 Edition.
The Frame is easily one of Samsung’s more iconic television sets, and it’s getting even better for Disney fans thanks to over 100 pieces of Disney-related art and a specialized remote that’s a subtle but heartfelt nod to Mickey Mouse.
As of this morning, it’s available to order in limited quantities until supplies last. Here’s what you need to know —and if you want it, we would check out soon.
The Frame Disney100 Edition, Starting at $1,699 at Samsung
At its core, The Frame Disney100 Edition is still an impressive 4K QLED television set with a matte coating on the screen to limit reflections. The picture on The Frame is stunning, and you should expect the same from the Disney100 Edition model. It’s available in 55-inch ($1,699), 65-inch ($2,199) and 75-inch ($3,199) models.
Included in the box with The Frame Disney100 Edition is a special edition remote that sure looks a lot like Mickey Mouse thanks to its black and white design. To finish off the Disney-inspired look, there’s also a platinum silver metal bezel that goes around the TV. This is the only Frame that comes with the “frame bezel” in the box, making this TV even more special. It also comes with everything you’d need to wall mount it and complete the look of a true framed piece of art.
You’ll have the option to put 100 different pieces of Disney art from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel, Lucasfilm and National Geographic on full display. That means you can constantly rotate your favorite characters like Captain America, Woody from “Toy Story” or R2D2 and C-3PO on display whenever The Frame isn’t in use at no additional cost. And yes, even The Mandalorian makes an appearance.
If you do ever grow tired of staring at Disney pictures, you can always download more art from the Samsung Art Store, curated by some of the top museums in the world, or send your own photos from your smartphone onto The Frame.
The Frame is preloaded with Samsung’s Tizen operating system, allowing you to stream your favorite shows from all major streaming platforms—Disney+ included—without needing a standalone streaming device.
The Frame Disney100 Edition is available for purchase now, with deliveries starting right away. And since it’s a limited edition TV with limited quantities, we wouldn’t wait too long to snag one.
