The Dukes come into Monday on a 12-game winning streak and 30-3 on the season. They lost just three conference games all season and two of them came at the hands of Appalachian State. They continued their dominance in the tournament as they knocked off Marshall and Texas State. Monday they will look to continue their run against a Red Wolves team that they beat 77-73 in their only meeting of the year. They led almost the entire game, but had to survive a late run to get the win.

The Red Wolves nearly pulled off the comeback win in the first meeting and are looking to complete the job on Monday night and steal a bid to the tournament.

The Red Wolves needed some late-game heroics to get there, though. They were tied with Appalachian State late, but Freddy Hicks hit a jump shot at the buzzer to give them the 67-65 win. 

They led throughout most of the game, but found themselves down two with 2:33 left. They would hold the Mountaineers scoreless the rest of the game and got the winner from Hicks to get the upset win.
