That win avenged an earlier season loss to the Norse and evened the season series. The Panthers have been playing great and Thursday they knocked off Green Bay on the road 95-84 to make the semifinals. The Panthers are led by BJ Freeman who is the team's leading scorer and rebounder at 21.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

The Norse will look to slow Freeman down as they try and advance to the championship game.
The Norse lost their last regular season game to Wright State, 94-88, but got revenge right away as they beat the Raiders 99-97 in overtime in the quarterfinals on Thursday. The game didn't start well for the Norse, as they were down 17-2 early, but they trailed by just seven at halftime.
They finally tied the game with six minutes remaining and then got the win in overtime. Marques Warrick scored a game-high 35 points to help the Norse get the upset win.
