The Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, will be alive once again today with a semifinal matchup between the No. 6 seed in Conference USA, Middle Tennessee State, taking on the No. 3 seed in the conference, Western Kentucky. The Blue Raiders finished their season just 14-18 overall and 7-9 against conference teams in Conference USA. They ended the regular season losing to Louisiana Tech 84-70 on the road and drew the No. 2-seeded Louisiana Tech in the quarterfinals of the CUSA Championship. They beat them by three points 70-67 to advance to the semifinals. Jestin Porter led the way with 18 points for MTSU. Jared Coleman-Jones had the team's only double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds with four assists. He will be a hard player to stop if he continues this momentum into this contest here today.

The Hilltoppers finished the season with a 20-11 overall record and an 8-8 record against conference teams. They finished one game ahead of the four teams tied at 7-9 earning the No. 3 seed. They took on New Mexico State, one of those 7-9 teams, yesterday in the quarterfinals and won by 20 points. 

Rodney Howard led the way with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting in 21 minutes off the bench. Dontaie Allen led the starters with 13 points and three rebounds.
