They lost their only meeting with Illinois this year in overtime. They erased a seven-point deficit in the last 3:19 of that game to force overtime but just didn't have enough in the extra period to get the win. Saturday they will look to avenge that loss and get to the championship game for the first time ever.

The Fighting Illini, though, are looking to thwart their dream as they look to pick up a season sweep of the Cornhuskers. The Fighting Illini have also been playing well as they have won five of their last six games, but they had a much tougher time in the quarterfinals as they beat Ohio State by just three points.
They were struggling in the second half and trailed the Buckeyes by 10 points with 11:09 left in the game. They got things right just in time, though, to come all the way back to get the big win.
