The team's most recent game was played against Columbia and resulted in a 98-76 victory on the road. Cooper Noard led Cornell in the win with 19 points, but five other players also finished in double figures. Guy Ragland Jr. earned a double-double in the season finale with 11 rebounds and 13 points.

The Bulldogs finished off regular season play with a conference record of 11-3 and an overall record of 20-9. The team's season finale game was played against Brown and resulted in a tough 84-81 overtime loss. August Mahoney paced the offense with 16 points while John Poulakidas and Danny Wolf followed closely behind with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Wolf also led on the boards with a team-high seven rebounds in the loss. The team shot and impressive 52.5% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc, but could not find a final three-pointer to send the game into double-overtime.
The last time Yale and Cornell met resulted in a close 65-62 win for Cornell, so Saturday's semifinal is bound to be an entertaining game.
