The Wolverines come into the final dual meet of the season with an overall record of 11-2 and a conference record of 1-2. The team's most recent dual meet resulted in a tough 407.400-412.150 loss to No. 7 Ohio State last weekend. Senior Javier Alfonso took an event win on still rings (14.25) and sophomore Fred Richard won the all-around with an 84.350 and high bar title after notching a 13.80. Being without graduate student Paul Juda, however, seemed to bring the team down as the Wolverines were unable to fill his shoes.
When Penn State and Michigan met last season, Penn State picked up the win by a score of 407.600-401.450.
