How to Watch Wisconsin vs Minnesota, WCHA Final Faceoff, Semifinal: Women's College Hockey: Stream Live, TV Channel

In the second semifinal game of the WCHA Final Faceoff on Friday, defending champion, and third seed No. 5 Minnesota (27-8-2, 19-7-2-3 WCHA) will try to upset second seed Wisconsin (31-5-0, 18-2-0 WCHA) in a rematch of last year's semifinal round. In that game last year, the Golden Gophers scored three of the final four goals including two in the third period, on their way to a conference championship appearance where they knocked off then-top seed Ohio State. There's a chance Ohio State is waiting on the other side again this year, with the Buckeyes taking on Minnesota Duluth in the earlier semifinal game.

Wisconsin and Minnesota played three times during the regular season this year. Minnesota won the first of those meetings 5-3 at home in early December. Wisconsin then put together three wins in a row, including a sweep in Madison just a few weeks ago (although one of those games did go to overtime). 

To start the tournament, Wisconsin took on St. Thomas. The Badgers swept that best-of-three series with wins of 4-2 and 91 last weekend. 

Minnesota took on an in-state opponent in Minnesota State. The Golden Gophers actually dropped the first game 5-4, but then bounced back with wins of 7-1 and 3-0 to advance.
