The Jets are hanging tough in the Western Conference playoff picture as the second place team in the Central with 83 points on a 39-17-5 pace. Winnipeg is in a crowded division where the Jets are tied with Colorado and two points behind Dallas for the top spot. Although the seeding in the Central is tight, the Jets are comfortably in the playoffs at this point. Seattle, on the other hand, is six points off the Wild Card pace with 67 points on the season.

Most recently, the Kraken took down the Jets on their home ice by a final score of 4-3 on Tuesday night. Andre Burakovsky scored a power-play goal with 2:39 remaining in the third period to lead the Kraken to a win. Jared McCann had a goal and two assists and Justin Schultz and Tomas Tatar also scored for Seattle.
As for the Jets, Winnipeg’s goal scorers in the loss were Kyle Connor, Adam Lowry and Nino Niederreiter. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves in net, but Burakovsky beat Hellebuyck over his glove on the game-winning goal.
