How to Watch Brighton & Hove Albion vs. AS Roma: Stream Europa League Live, TV Channel

Brighton & Hove Albion is chasing a four-goal deficit as it stands on the verge of a Europa League exit hosting Roma on Thursday.

Serie A giant Roma is on the verge of taking its place in the Europa League quarterfinals barring the biggest of defeat away to Brighton on Thursday. Daniele de Rossi’s men won the opening leg 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico and merely need to ensure they win, draw or lose by a margin of three goals or fewer to reach the last eight of Europe’s second-tier contest for the second time in as many seasons. Former Sassuolo boss Roberto de Zerbi had a torrid time in his reunion with the Giallorossi last week, but a Brighton team that’s currently eight in the Premier League and has the potential to break out can’t be quite ruled out of the fixture just yet.

That’s bound to be more difficult without the services of this season’s top scorer, Joao Pedro, who has netted an impressive 19 goals across all competitions in his debut year on England’s south coast.

Pedro’s tally includes six goals in the Europa League, which is one fewer than Roma’s Romelu Lukaku, with only Marseille’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (nine) having bagged more this season.

Wingers Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March will also be absent for the Seagulls due to injury, meaning Simon Adingra and Ansu Tati look like to start out wide, with Julio Encase and Facundo Buonanotte as alternatives.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham remains out of commission for De Rossi’s side and is joined by Leeds loanee Rasmus Kristiansen on the sidelines.

Two first half goals from Lukaku and Paulo Dybala set Roma on a patch to triumph over Brighton last week, while Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini added the extras after the interval.

Needless to say De Zerbi’s defense will need to show more resilience in the second salvo if Brighton is to have any chance of reaching the last eight of a European competition for the first time.

Regional restrictions may apply.
