With the arrival of Lionel Messi to Inter Miami, interest in both MLS and the best way to stream it—MLS Season Pass on Apple TV—has surged. With The Leagues Cup complete and the remaining regular MLS season underway, Apple’s dropped an epic deal.

For the rest of the season, MLS Season Pass is just $25 if you subscribe to Apple TV+, which offers a free seven-day trial, and $29 if you don't. That’s a tremendous saving off the original, which was $79 with TV+ and $99 for everyone else. The service is loaded with content, including access to every upcoming game, replays of matches past, special cups, documentaries, and sports shows.

Read on for how to score MLS Season Pass at this discounted rate, what you get access to, and all the places you can stream it.

MLS Season Pass: Everything to Know

While the season kicked off in February, it goes until October 21. That’s just the regular season, though, and just like baseball, hockey, and football, there is a postseason.

It’s mid-season, but the matches are sure to be fire. If you’re interested in subscribing monthly, the cost of that has been lowered to $12.99 for TV+ subscribers and $14.99 for non-subscribers (we’d recommend going to the yearly route, though, considering the overall value). These mid-season price reductions will go back up in 2024.

It’s easy to sign up, and you'll be able to select your discounted rate once you sign into your Apple ID account. Once you complete that, you get instant access to the backlog of games, shows, and documentaries and can tune in live for matches. It’s linked to your Apple ID, meaning those in your iCloud Family Sharing (up to six users) can also access MLS Season Pass.

All MLS matches are broadcast in English, Spanish, and French. MLS Season Pass is the official streaming service for the league and by far the easiest way to stream every game, from regular to custom cups and playoffs. All games are broadcast in 1080pHD, and the production team pulls from multiple cameras to get viewers as close to the action as possible.

As you might suspect, the platform lives within the Apple TV app, which comes pre-loaded on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the Apple TV 4K (along with the older HD models). It’s not just limited to Apple devices, though. You can stream MLS Season Pass through Apple TV’s website, and it’s built into several other devices.

Those with an Xbox Series S, Series X, or PlayStation 5 can download the Apple TV app for easy streaming. The same goes for those with a TV running Google TV, Fire TV, or Roku, and it’s available for download on streaming devices like Fire TV Sticks or the Google Chromecast.

All of this to say, there is a good chance you have a device that can connect to the big screen for an epic viewing experience. If you are watching on an Apple TV 4K streaming box, you can get notifications to let you tune into an upcoming match easily and watch multiple sports simultaneously with a split view functionality. Of course, with Siri built-in, you can ask for updates on the match, player or team, too.
