It has been a great start for the Longhorns, but Friday's game was their first against a ranked team this season. They had their bats silenced for most of the night abasing the Tigers. They didn't score until the seventh when they finally got a run. They would add two more in the ninth, but it wasn't enough in the loss.

The Bobcats will look to shut down the Longhorns bats on Saturday as they try and win a fourth straight game.
The Bobcats have been playing well and got a big 8-7 win over Houston in 10 innings on Friday.
They led 5-2 heading into the eighth against the Cougars, but they gave up four runs in the top of the inning. They tied the game, though, in the bottom of the ninth and then after giving up a run in the top of the 10th, they scored two in the bottom of the inning to earn the walk-off win.
Saturday they will loo to build off that momentum and get their biggest win of the year against the Longhorns.
