How to Watch The Futures Game: Mets Prospects vs Nationals Prospects: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

On Friday afternoon, the MLB is bringing its newest promotional game to spring training to give fans a glimpse at what the future of baseball looks like in the United States. Titled 'Spring Breakout,' the game will feature prospects from the New York Mets' franchise as the players take on the prospects from the Washington Nationals' organization. Between the two, there are seven 'Top 100' prospects who will be playing. The game will give fans an idea of what the National League East could look like over the next 10 or so years as Jett Williams, Drew Gilbert and Luisangel Acuña of the Mets battle against Dylan Crews, James Wood and company from the Nationals.

Unlike the Futures Game that is normally held in July which only features one or two prospects, Friday's game will be a seven-inning battle that will get as close to a spring training game as possible without actually being a spring training game. For the Mets, relatively new additions to the organization such as Colin Houck, Brandon Sproat and Marco Vargas will make their debut on the big stage after tearing it up down in the Minors. It will also include a slew of close-to-the-Majors players like Williams, Gilbert, Acuña and Dominic Hamel.

Tune in Friday afternoon to see these up-and-comers play on a bigger stage with the hopes of catching the eye of their respective big league managers.
