Two of those 11 wins came against the Grizzlies starting with a 61-56 win and then most recently a 56-55 thriller three games before the conference tournament began.
In the most recent game the Grizzlies jumped out to a three point lead after the first period and were up 27-11 at the half. Maggie Espenmiller-McGraw led the way with 15 points and six rebounds to build the early lead. Mack Koing was the only other player in double-figures for the Grizzlies with 11 points.
Then, in the second half the Eagles steadied the ship cutting the lead in half in the third period and outscored the Grizzlies 35-28 in the second half. Jamie Loera paced the offense with 20 points, 10 rebounds and two assists on 3-6 shooting from three. In both games the teams played about as evenly as possible building towards this semifinal match in the Big Sky Tournament.
