In the two games between the Eagles and the Lumberjacks, they split the season series. The Lumberjacks picked an upset win in overtime (81-80) in the first game and the Eagles evened the season series (67-42) in the second game.
Five players scored in double figures for the Lumberjacks in the first game led by Sophie Glancey with 23 points and nine rebounds going 9-for-9 from the free throw line. The Lumberjacks blew an 11-point lead in the final period to send the game to overtime where they outscored the Eagles 16-8 for the win.
Then in the second game the Eagles dominated winning every period. They built an eight-point lead at the half and a 16-point lead heading into the final period. Jaime Loera led the way with 15 points, eight points, five assists and two steals to pace the offense. That sets the stage here in the Big Sky Tournament championship game for one of the Eagles or Lumberjacks to win the season series and head to the NCAA Tournament as conference champions.
