The Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Tournament will head into the quarterfinals at the T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City, Missouri with a matchup featuring No. 10-seeded Kansas State taking on the No. 7 ranked Iowa State and the No. 2 seed in the Big 12. The Wildcats finished the season 19-13 overall, but just 8-10 against teams from the Big 12 Conference. They entered the tournament Wednesday after receiving the No. 10 seed taking on the No. 7 seed Texas and beating them by four points. Tylor Perry led the team with 21 points on 4-of-10 shooting. Arthur Kaluma led the team in rebounds with eight rebounds to go with 14 points.

The Cyclones finished the season as the No. 2 team in the conference, earning the right to not have to play until the quarterfinals. They finished 24-7 overall this season and 13-5 against conference teams in one of the hardest conferences in the nation.

They ended the season with a loss against Kansas State 65-58 after beating ranked BYU in the game before. Keshon Gilbert led the team in scoring throughout the season with 13.5 points 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
