Capital One Arena will be electric tonight with the championship game of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament featuring the No. 1-seeded North Carolina taking on the No. 10-seeded NC State in Washington, D.C. The Tar Heels finished the season as the regular season champions in the ACC and are on pace to be the tournament champions as well. It will be the first time since 2008 they have won the tournament. After finishing the season 27-6 overall and 17-3 against conference teams, they took on Florida State in the quarterfinals on Thursday winning 92-67. RJ Davis led the team with 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting while Armando Bacot had a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double. Yesterday, they took on Pitt, who took down Wake Forest, in the Semifinals and won by just seven points in a tight game. Davis once again led the team with 25 points.

The Wolfpack have been on a tear this tournament and do not look like a team you want to play. They opened up play against Syracuse in the second round and won by 20 points advancing onto the quarterfinals against the No. 2 seeded Duke.
They took them down 74-69 on the back of 18 points from DJ Horne. Yesterday, in the semifinal, the took down the No. 3 seeded Virginia by eight points in overtime. DJ Burns had 19 points to lead the way to the championship.
