The Bahrain International Circuit presents a number of challenges for drivers — wind, racing under the lights and finding the right setup for the car amid the wide temperature changes between sessions. A tight, downhill left-hand Turn 10 is the most challenging point.
The course itself is 3.363 miles with 15 turns, with the race covering 191.53 miles over its 57 laps. Verstappen topped the podium at Bahrain for the first time last year while Hamilton has won a record five times at the track, with Alonso owning three first place finishes.
Ferrari has won the most races among manufacturers with seven, most recently by Charles Leclerc in 2022.
