Arizona looks to continue the momentum with a second straight win today. They have left-hander Tommy Henry on the mound for his second start and fourth appearance in spring training. He takes on Chicago’s right-handed veteran Michael Wacha in his third start in spring training.
Those two will try to control the mound for both Arizona and Kansas City today to build the start of a winning streak in the Cactus League. This is also a showcase of the best young talent for both teams including two of the top 11 ranked prospects in the Top 100 this season.
Chicago has ninth ranked Colson Montgomery who has played short-stop in AA and is in a position to join the majors this season. For Arizona, 11th ranked Jordan Lawlar already has a taste of the majors and could be the future of the team for seasons to come.
