Nick Lima put New England up 1-0 in the 28th minute, before Tomás Chancalay doubled the lead in the 41st minute of the match, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime. Chancalay then scored his second of the match via penalty kick in the 50th minute, before Esmir Bajraktarevic scored the fourth goal of the match in the 55th.

New England followed that performance up with a visit to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday to face Atlanta United. The Revolution were down 4-0 to Atlanta before Carles Gil scored the club's lone goal of the match in the 83rd minute.
The Revolution have now lost all three of their matches so far in the MLS regular season campaign, also losing against D.C. United and Toronto.
