The Wolfpack are currently 12-13 overall this season with a conference record of 6-8. Despite the losing record, Nevada is in sixth place in the conference standings and is on a two-game win streak after beating Wyoming (3-2) and Colorado State (3-0). Kayla Afoa led the Wolfpack offensively with 15 kills while also collecting 16 digs on defense to hold off the Rams. Collectively, the Pack delivered 13 aces against Colorado State, as well. The Broncos have collected an overall record of 14-11 this season and have a conference record of 6-8.

Boise State is sitting just ahead of Nevada in the standings, but the team is currently on a five-game losing streak. The most recent loss came against last-place Fresno State in which the Bulldogs really dominated the entire match. The Broncos picked up a win in set three, but the excitement was short-lived as Fresno State bounced back to win the fourth. 

The last time these two teams played each other resulted in a 3-1 win for Boise State.
