Texas A&M challenges South Carolina in the first quarterfinal of the SEC Tournament today.

South Carolina (29-0) starts its journey for a second straight SEC Championship and seventh in nine years, The Gamecocks are the top-ranked team in the country after an undefeated regular season. Texas A&M (19-11) looks to be the first team to beat the Gamecocks this season in the first quarterfinal of the tournament. Heading into the SEC Tournament the Gamecocks have won 24 of their 29 games this season by 10-plus points and have been the most dominant team in the country. Now they are just three wins away from a second straight undefeated season entering the NCAA Tournament.

The first time these teams played the Gamecocks won 99-64 after a monster first half. In that game the Gamecocks jumped out to a 25-8 first-quarter lead and a 54-23 first-half lead as they cruised to another win.

Freshman MiLaysia Fulwiley led the way with 21 points off the bench going 8-12 from the field and 3-5 from three. Four others finished in double-figures Kamilla Cardoso (17 points and 13 rebounds), Sania Feagin (15 points off the bench), Chloe Kitts (13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists) and Te-Hina Paopao (10 points).

The Aggies will need a lot more on both ends to pull off the upset of the season in game two today. In the loss, they finished with four players in double-figures scoring led by Endyia Rogers with 21 points.
