The team only produced three hits in yesterday's loss with two coming from Kristen White and one coming from Lauren Johnson. Bailey Dowling and Abby Duchscherer accounted for the team's two RBIs. Jaala Torrence got the start for Alabama and pitched two innings. While she only gave up one earned run, she was credited with the loss, as three runs came in during her time in the circle.

The Gators are off to a strong start in conference play with wins on Saturday and Sunday to bring their overall record to 21-3 and their conference record to 2-0. The bats were hot for Florida on Sunday as the team recorded 10 hits in just five innings of play. Skylar Wallace led the team, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs. Ava Brown got the win in the circle to move to 9-1 after pitching a complete game and striking out three batters while giving up two earned runs.
