The Oklahoma City Thunder go for their third win in a row on Tuesday when they host the Indiana Pacers. Oklahoma City has arrived early and hold the top spot in the Western Conference. The Thunder look like they are going to be around for quite some time in the West. The grind doesn't stop though because OKC is only a half-game up on the defending champion Denver Nuggets who won on Monday after rallying from 21 points down against the Toronto Raptors. That should be no problem though as the Thunder still haven't lost 20 games and are riding the momentum of a big 124-93 win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. Oklahoma City blew out the Thunder riding on the shoulders of its MVP in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He finished the night with 23 points but he did that all in three quarters with the game well in hand. Jalen Williams left the game though in the second quarter with a sprained ankle. His recovery is crucial for this team with Williams being the second leading scorer for the Thunder.

Indiana is keeping pace in the East sitting in the seventh spot and coming off a 111-97 win against the Orlando Magic. The game got the Pacers within one win back of the sixth spot which Orlando holds on to. Tyrese Haliburton led the charge with 20 points and the Pacers won the season-series 2-1 against their closest competition. But that competition gets much harder in another road contest tonight. This is the first meeting of these teams this season. The Thunder will be the 6.5-point favorites at home tonight.
