Los Angeles, California plays host to the next Unleash the Beast event in the PBR Bull Riding series. Today the second round and championship rides will crown a champion in the City of Angels and give every rider the opportunity to climb the standings. Heading into this weekend Cassio Dias (741.83) holds a commanding lead over the rest of the field. He looks to hold off the rest of the field starting with Austin Richardson who is in second place and Eduardo Aparecido in third place. Last season none of those three finished in the top 10 in points making these early events on the calendar all the more important to their journey this season.

Dias has rode in seven of the nine events so far in the 2024 Unleash the Beast season. In those seven rides he has placed first in three, second in one and in the top 11 overall in the rest. He has gotten off to a great start in his rookie season.

So far through those events Dias has built up a lead of over 200 points over the field in the Unleash the Beast standings. Richardson (533.50 points), Aparecido (348.50 points), John Crimber (347.83 points), Koltin Hevalow (345.00 points) and Cody Jesus (302.00 points) are the only riders with at least 300 points at this stage in the season. All of those riders will look to put a dent in Dias lead today.

Not active this weekend in Los Angeles due to injury or the schedule are Kaique Pacheco, Derek Kolbala, Joao Lucas Campos and several other of the top riders in the PBR Bull Riding series.
