Most recently, Creighton took care of business with a 94-72 victory over Georgetown in Omaha on Tuesday night. Baylor Scheirman recorded the first triple-double in program history with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists while eclipsing the 2,000 career points milestone in the win.
As for Butler, the Bulldogs battled throughout with No. 4 Marquette but came up short late in the game in a 78-72 loss on Tuesday night. Finley Bizjack led the way for Butler with 19 points while Pierre Brooks II added 15 points in the loss for the Bulldogs.
