Most recently, Virginia fell at home for the first time this season in a 74-63 loss to Pittsburgh in Charlottesville on Tuesday night. Virginia was out-gunned at the three-point line with Pitt outscoring them 42-12 from beyond the arc. Reece Beekman finished with 19 points and six rebounds in the loss.
As for Wake Forest, the Demon Deacons kept it close but ultimately fell to No. 9 Duke by a final score of 77-69 on Monday night. Hunter Sallis scored a team-high 22 points with five rebounds and four assists to lead the way for Wake Forest in the lsos. Andrew Carr also added 12 points.
