The Huskies are much better at home, where they are 6-5, compared to 4-11 on the road. Hampton, on the other hand, has won two consecutive games in conference play to improve to 7-21 overall and 2-13 in the CAA. The Pirates only have one road win on the year with a 1-10 away record. Last season, Northeastern won the first-ever matchup between these two teams by a final score of 79-63.

Most recently, the Huskies thanks to some last-minute heroics held on for a 61-58 victory over Elon at Matthews Arena on Thursday night. Elon erased a 16-point deficit to take a one-point lead with eight seconds left, but Luka Sakota hit three free throws to win the game for the Huskies.

As for Hampton, the Pirates held on with a strong second half in a 72-68 victory over Campbell on Thursday night. Jordan Nesbitt led the way with 21 points while Jerry Deng added 15 points for Hampton as they captured their second-straight win.
