On Sunday, the Raiders can advance to their seventh successive Patriot League tourney final with a victory over visiting Bucknell (14-18) in a semifinal matchup at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, New York. Colgate has played in the last four NCAA tournaments but would have missed the 2020 event had it not been canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic. The fifth-seeded Bison haven't gone to the Big Dance since 2018 when they knocked off the top-seeded Raiders for the league tournament championship.

Colgate cruised to an 81-64 win over No. 9 seed Holy Cross on Thursday night. Ryan Moffitt led a balanced attack with 14 points and Keegan Records added 13. Braeden Smith averages 12.2 points and 5.9 assists while Records puts up 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Bucknell blew out No. 4 American on the road Thursday night in an 80-57 quarterfinal romp. Noah Williamson finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Jack Forrest dropped in 16 points. Forrest scores 16.0 points per game and Williamson averages 12.1 points and 6.3 boards. The Bison have won four straight games.

The Raiders are 71-53 against Bucknell all-time and have won the last eight meetings, including a regular-season sweep this season. Colgate got an 84-73 road win on Jan. 13 and was the last team to beat the Bison with a 62-50 victory at home on Feb. 17.
