The Huskies are currently in last place in the conference standings with an overall record of 1-10-0 and a Pac-12 record of 0-4-0. The team's most recent meet resulted in a fourth place finish at the Metroplex Challenge with a score of 196.450, finishing behind Cal, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The Huskies started on beam where they earned their only score below 49, but were driven by a season-high 9.875 by Deiah Moody. Emily Innes earned a team-high 9.900 on floor. Skylar Killough-Wilhelm earned 9.875s on both floor and bars, but the team still came up short.

The Sun Devils are currently in fourth place in the Pac-12 standings with a conference record of 2-2 and an overall record of 5-4. After dropping their first two conference duals of the season, the team bounced back and has won its last two Pac-12 duals with the most recent being a 196.850-196.250 win over No. 17 Arizona. Sarah Clark scored a 9.850 on bars to lead the Sun Devils in the anchor spot. Alex Theodorou and Anaya Smith each scored 9.900s on vault while Emily White and Hannah Scharf each scored 9.900s on floor. The team finished on beam and Kayla Lee led the team with a 9.875. 

When Washington and Arizona State last met, the Sun Devils earned a 197.475-197.250 win on the road during a conference dual last season.
