On Friday night, SEC competition will come to a close for No. 20 Georgia as the team hosts No. 14 Auburn at Stegeman Coliseum for the final dual meet of the season. The Bulldogs are currently in last place in the conference standings with an SEC record of 0-6 and an overall record of 1-6. The team's most recent loss came against No. 9 Alabama in a 198.075-196.975 defeat. Katie Finnegan scored a career-high 9.925 on vault and took home a share of the event title while three additional Bulldogs recorded season-high scores, including Sidney Fitzgerald on bars (9.825), Eryn Williams on floor (9.825) and Anya Turner on beam (9.900). Despite the strong performances, Georgia could not compete with the strength of the Crimson Tide and suffered their sixth straight loss.

The Tigers come into Friday's final dual in seventh place in the SEC standings with a conference record of 2-4 and an overall record of 6-6. The team's most recent dual meet was against No. 13 Missouri and resulted in a 197.425-197.000 win at home.  Super senior Cassie Stevens scored a career-high 9.95 on floor in her final event at Neville Arena to win the all-around. Stevens anchored on vault and earned a 9.9 while Olivia Greaves anchored on bars and earned a career-best 9.9. Olivia Hollingsworth and Sophia Groth each scored 9.9s and Stevens added a 9.925 to help her team move into the lead. The team was able to hold on to tack on another win for the year. 

The last time these two teams met was last season and the meet resulted in a  197.100-196.600 win for Auburn.
