Stanford looks to continue its impressive season on Saturday night when it takes on Texas in the Regional Final of the NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament. The Cardinal come into Saturday on an 11-match winning streak and 29-3 on the season. One of those wins came back on Sept. 3rd when they beat Texas in straight sets. It was a road match for the Cardinal, but they still got the big 25-23, 25-20, 25-15 win. The Cardinal have been great this year, but they were nearly upset in the second round of the tournament as Houston took them to five sets. They won the first two sets, but dropped sets three and four before finally finishing off the Cougars 15-7 in the fifth set.

The Longhorns had their scare on Thursday when they had to win the last two sets to knock off No. 11 Tennessee. 

The Longhorns had won their first two matches of the tournament easily, but were facing elimination against the Volunteers. They responded with a 26-24 fourth set and a 16-14 fifth.

It was an exciting match and Saturday they will look to pull off another upset as they try and keep their hopes alive for a repeat National Championship.
