The men's volleyball season is underway and on Monday night No. 8 Stanford will host No. 10 Loyola-Chicago for the second time in as many days at Maples Pavilion for a non-conference match. The Ramblers come into Monday night's game with a record of 1-2 so far after dropping games to No. 3 Hawaii and, most recently, Stanford, both in straight sets. Colton Brooks led the Ramblers' offense against the Cardinal with nine kills on 26 swings for a hitting percentage of .115. Ryan McElligott supported offensive play with 21 assists at setter, while Charlie Ledford led the defensive efforts with four digs in the back court.

The Cardinal are now 1-0 after last night's win against the Ramblers. The offense was paced by Moses Wagner and Will Rottman, who each finished the game with eight kills. Nathaniel Gates was right behind the pair with seven kills and Nathan Lietzke added 21 assists to support the hitters. On the defensive end, Luke Turner added a team-leading six digs to the stat sheet and was followed closely by Rottman, who finished the game with five digs.
