The winner of this game moves on to play the winner of the second semifinal that will take place today. That game features top-seeded DePaul College Prep and second-seeded Richwoods.
In their two games so far in the Super Sixteen of the IHSA Playoffs the Caravan have won both games by double-figures. In the Sectional Finals they won 73-57 over De La Salle and then 56-46 over St. Patrick in the Super-Sectionals. Another win today gives the Caravan a shot at the state championship.
For the Braves, they defeated MacArthur handily (61-48) in the Sectional Finals and then survived a nail biter in the Super-Sectionals over Centralia (47-46) in the most competitive game for either of these teams in the playoffs.
