The Red Sox pushed across five runs in the bottom of the sixth on Sunday to take a 7-6 win over Tampa Bay. Brian Dalbec's grand slam, his first homer of the spring, was the big blow in the frame, while Ceddanne Rafaela homered for the second straight game.
Oneil Cruz, limited to just nine games last season by a broken leg, homered twice on Sunday, driving in four runs, but Pittsburgh gave up two runs in the top of the ninth to take a 9-7 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Cruz and Bryan Reynolds opened the game with back-to-back homers in the bottom of the first. Cruz has three homers in Florida.
Right-hander Cooper Criswell gets his second spring start for Boston on Monday. He has allowed four runs in 6.2 innings over three appearances so far. The Pirates give the ball to left-hander Bailey Falter, who has surrendered six runs on 11 hits in six spring innings over three appearances. He is making his second start in Florida.
