How to Watch Pirates at Braves: Stream MLB Spring Training Live, TV Channel

The Atlanta Braves host a Pittsburgh Pirates split squad on Saturday night at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida, with less than 2 weeks remaining before Opening Day.

The Atlanta Braves (9-10) have lost two straight spring training games as they return to their Florida home base on Saturday night, hosting a split squad from the Pittsburgh Pirates (8-12) at CoolToday Park in North Port. The Pirates signed veteran outfielder Michael Taylor to a one-year, $4 million deal on Friday as they look to address their right-field situation. Taylor had 21 homers and 53 RBI for the Minnesota Twins last season. Pittsburgh also signed right-hander Domingo Germán to a minor-league deal with a spring-training invitation. The 31-year-old is coming off a season with the New York Yankees marred by a 10-game suspension for using an illegal sticky substance and time on the restricted list while being treated for alcohol abuse. But he also threw a perfect game against the Oakland A's in June.

Orlando Arcia's seventh-inning home run was the lone run for the Braves on Friday in a 6-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Young right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver was roughed up for five runs on eight hits in his three-inning stint while reliever Jackson Stephens fanned five during a scoreless 2.1 innings.

Veteran right-hander Charlie Morton gets his first start of the spring on Saturday for Atlanta after working 2.2 scoreless innings in relief earlier in the Grapefruit League schedule. Pittsburgh gives the ball to 22-year-old right-hander Jared Jones, who has allowed two unearned runs on three hits in 7.1 innings in Florida.
