The fourth race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series comes to Phoenix, Arizona and the Phoenix Raceway. In the first three races of the season, Austin Hill won back-to-back races before John Hunter Nemechek won the last race. Hill specifically is off to a great start this season with those two wins and a fourth-place finish in his first three races. He is one of only two drivers to finish in the top five in all three races along with Chandler Smith. Both Hill and Smith, along with Nemechek are all in the field today looking to maintain their grip at the top of the standings in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Racing Series.

Last season Phoenix Raceway hosted two races on the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Sammy Smith winning at this stage in the season, the fourth race, and Cole Custer winning the series championship race.
Those two races were dominated by Smith and Custer. In the first race, Custer won the pole, with Smith winning the race. Then, in the second race Smith won the pole while Custer came out with the win. Both will look to win the pole today ahead of the race and set the stage for another win on this track.
Through three races Hill (148 points), Smith (126 points), Riley Herbst (121 points), AJ Allmendinger (105 points) and Custer (99 points) are the top five drivers in the standings. All five either have a win, a top-two finish or at least two top-10 finishes to start the season.
