The Minnesota Timberwolves have won six of their last seven games when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves continue to hold the top spot in the Western Conference but the Oklahoma City Thunder stay hot on their heels just a half-game back in the standings. The pressure is on but Minnesota has proven it can take it. The T'Wolves are going for their third win in a row and are playing on consecutive nights after beating the San Antonio Spurs 114-105 on Tuesday. Anthony Edwards ruled the night once again leading the game with 34 points. Edwards unfortunately had a scary moment after rolling his ankle but he was able to return to the game before the half.

The Timberwolves are trying to sweep this season-series in the finale tonight against the Grizzlies. Memphis is trying to avoid losing three in a row tonight. The Grizzlies lost 111-86 to the Brooklyn Nets in their last game on Monday. Lamar Stevens led the charge for Memphis with 17 points but the Nets' defense overall was stifling. It was Kevin Ollie's first win as an NBA head coach after taking over the interim position for Brooklyn. The road only gets tougher tonight.
