The Charlotte Hornets are going through it right now but they're hoping that coming back home and hosting the Brooklyn Nets will flip the switch. Charlotte has lost six games in a row but the Nets are coming off a loss to the Detroit Pistons which was just their 10th win of the season. Besides, the Nets are 9-20 on the road and this has been a close series so far as we head in this series finale tonight all tied up at a game apiece. The Hornets won on the road in Game 2 back in November by just a point. Brooklyn is favored by 6.5 points but expect another close game here tonight. Charlotte's most recent loss came at the hands of the struggling Washington Wizards and it wasn't all that close losing 112-100 on Friday. The win for Washington snapped a 16-game losing streak who have the most losses in the league. Miles Bridges still had a great game despite the loss leading all scorers with 32 points. Charlotte was leading in the fourth but Washington dug in late and pulled off the comeback for their 10th win.

Detroit reached that same win mark with a 118-112 win over the Nets on Thursday. Dennis Schroder had a great game despite the loss leading the team with 31 points. Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham were too much though from the Pistons who combined for 66 points. It was the Pistons' first win since January. The Nets should be able to bounce back tonight but they can't take the Hornets for granted like they did the Pistons especially on the road.
