The Chiefs are 10-6 and have struggled relative to recent seasons. However, they’re the top team in the AFC West and have clinched a playoff spot. Conversely, this is the last game of the season for the Chargers, who are 5-11. They’ve lost four straight and are last in the division.

It’s been another disappointing year for Los Angeles, who can’t seem to put a full season together. The Chargers lost their franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert with an injury earlier this season, but were already struggling even with him in the lineup.
Simply put, the Chiefs haven’t been themselves for most of this season. Still, nobody wants to see them in postseason given the talent on both sides of the ball. Kansas City will want to finish the regular season strong today and carry momentum into the playoffs.
Given this is the final week of the regular season, we still don’t know what playoff matchups will look like quite yet. Regardless, the Chiefs have clinched while the Chargers have been officially eliminated.
