Most recently, the Golden Knights lost their third game in four outings in a 5-3 loss to the Predators on Tuesday night. Vegas was playing on the second leg of a back-to-back after shutting out the Sharks 4-0 on Monday. Alex Pietrangelo, William Karlsson, and Michael Amadio scored for the Knights in the loss.
As for Toronto, the Maple Leafs cruised to a 6-3 victory over the Coyotes on Wednesday night. Leafs star Austin Matthews scored his 50th and 51st goals of the season, becoming the fastest U.S.-born player to a 50-goal season.
