After pulling off two upset wins over Vegas and Dallas to end last month, the Senators have hit another rough patch with four consecutive losses heading into Wednesday night’s tilt. Ottawa is out of playoff contention in the East with 53 points on a 25-31-3 pace. Anaheim, on the other hand, is coming off another loss to drop it to 22-36-3 with 47 points on the season. Last month, the Ducks cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Senators in Ottawa thanks to Mason McTavish’s two-goal performance.

Most recently, the Senators dropped their fourth consecutive game in a 4-2 loss to the Flyers in Philadelphia last weekend. Tyson Foerster scored a pair of goals for the Flyers in a span of 45 seconds. Vladimir Taresenko and Thomas Chabot scored the goals for Ottawa in the loss.
As for Anaheim, the Ducks battled with the first place Canucks, but fell by a final score of 2-1 on Sunday. Conor Garland scored the go-ahead goal in the second period to give Vancouver the win. Alex Killorn scored the lone goal for the Ducks.
The Senators look to snap a four-game losing streak when they visit the Ducks on Wednesday night.
