Benjamin (14-0) looks for its second consecutive Texas 1A Six-Man Division II state title on Wednesday when it faces Oglesby (13-0) in the championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Mustangs have rolled through the playoffs, winning their four games by an average of 41.8 points while the Tigers took down perennial power Richland Springs in its semifinal victory on Dec. 2. It is Oglesby's first trip to the championship game in the division, which dates to 2006. Benjamin defeated Loraine 68-20 in last year's championship game. Six-man football is played on an 80-yard by 40-yard field and offenses must gain 15 yards to earn a new set of downs.

The Mustangs advanced to the championship game with a 52-4 victory over Klondike on Dec. 2 at the Mustang Bowl in Sweetwater. Grayson Rigdon ran for 323 yards on just eight carries and scored six touchdowns while Keegan Hayes added a touchdown run.
In its semifinal, Kyler Fossett ran for five touchdowns and also returned two kickoffs for scores in the Tigers' 62-48 win over Richland Springs at Dublin High School on Dec. 2. Fossett puled up 284 yards on 23 carries and Landon Williamson hauled in a 79-yard touchdown pass from Hunter Walter.
Rigdon has run for 2,402 yards and 49 touchdowns while also throwing for 19 scores and catching 23 passes for 637 yards and 18 TDs. Hayes has 21 touchdown passes, 13 rushing scores and eight receiving TDs. Meanwhile, Fossett has piled up 2,612 rushing yards and 52 touchdowns for the Tigers. Williamson has 24 catches for 716 yards and 13 scores.
